2020 has been taken over by a global pandemic. Our project is interested in knowing how people are feeling during these intense times. Everyone’s life has been changed from the COVID-19 pandemic. Through, I feel participants can gain a sense of community during these trying times. We are asking participants to share how they are feeling with an instagram post or story. In turn we are going to be sharing messages on the @ifeel_2020 instagram account. We want to be able to see how people are reacting to our world right now. By doing this we are hoping for a new found sense of community.
We are expecting our audience to react positively towards the I feel movement even though some initial reactions may be negative. I feel, is supposed to allow people to express themselves, whether that's positive or negative. We are using social media to spread our message, hoping to connect with many people. We have been inspired by what is going on in the world right now, we have all lost that sense of community from social distancing. By spending more time on social media more people are connected than ever.
The instagram is still a live artwork. We will be still posting on @ifeel_2020, if it could be shared as an active feed on the website that would be beneficial.
